Toby has withdrawn for some exciting, personal reasons to be announced soon!!

TOBY DAWSON

Toby was born in Korea and adopted by two ski instructors from Vail, Colorado. He began skiing at 4 and found his home in freestyle at 13.

Toby achieved his goal of making the US Ski Team at 19, where he quickly climbed the ranks. Toby had early and much success on the World Cup circuit, narrowly missing the 2002 Olympic Team. He rededicated himself to his sport and his focus became even more intense after the disappointment of 2002. He suffered a major injury to his ankle and leg in 2004, which led him to find a life off the hill. In 2005 he won the World Championship in dual moguls, which set him up nicely for the 2006 World Cup and Olympic season. Toby spent the summer of 2005 training and doing advertisements for Kellogs, including being on Frosted Flakes boxes, magazine covers and promotions for Sprint, Nike and Oakley. On Friday, January 13 2006, Toby won in Deer Valley and was named to the Olympic Team. On February 15, 2006, Toby won his medal which started a deluge of people from Korea claiming he was their relative. On April 1, 2006 Toby introduced Pink at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards and got engaged to Leah later that night. In August of 2006, Toby retired from skiing, he had nothing left to achieve and he was ready to pursue his next adventure in life, golf as a profession.

Toby was reunited with his birth father and brother in Korea. In April Toby and Leah married and then again in May they had a second wedding in Korea. Toby now lives in California where he continues to work on his golf. The Dawson’s have 3 kids to keep them busy. Between playing golf and being a family man, Toby still finds time for charity work. His life has indeed come full circle.
