MEREDITH STEINKE

Meredith Steinke has been performing with the Vail Valley Academy of Dance (VVAD) and the Vail Performing Arts Academy (VPAA) from the age of five.  She has danced in four performances of the Nutcracker, most recently as “Arabian” and “Snow” with the VVAD.   With VPAA she has had roles in Bye Bye Birdie, Godspell, Bugsy Malone, Aladdin, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and High School Musical in addition to many musical revues.  She attended Zamuels Ballet Intensive in 2009.  At BMHS she is a featured dancer and singer with the Glee Club and danced in the 2010 school production of Crazy for You.   This summer she will be a featured dancer in the role of Graziella in West Side Story.  Dance and theater are one her passions; children are her other.  Meredith is a great mentor to many of the Vail Valley children sharing her love of music, theater and the outdoors with them.
 
 She looks forward to dancing with her partner, Blaize Olle in the 2010 Star Dancing Gala.
